Augustus, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE halved-as, Nemausus mint, issued A.D. 10-14, (5.20 grams), obv. laureate head of Agrippa to left and laureate head of Augustus to right, above IMP across P P, below DIVI F, dotted border, rev. COL NEM on either side of palm-shoot, chained crocodile below, wreath above, two palm branches below, (S.1731, RIC 155, RPC 523); Salonina, wife of Gallienus (A.D. 254-268), antoninianus, (4.15 grams), Rome mint, obv. Salonina diademed and draped bust right on crescent, around SALONINA AVG, rev. Vesta seated to left, holding patera and sceptre, aound VESTA, Q in exergue, (S.10665, RIC. 194, C.143). Very fine, the first coin halved in antiquity with a bluish-green patina. (2)
