Apollo in quadriga to right, ROM[A] below, M.BAEBI.[Q.F] in exergue, (S.113, Cr.236/1a, Syd.489, RSC Baebia 12). Deep cabinet toning, nearly extremely fine and rare.
An innovative type with the head of Roma facing left and the first appearance of Apollo on a Roman denarius.
