Italy, Bruttium, Croton (Kroton), (500-460 B.C.), silver 1/24th (0.44 grams), obv. tripod, legs terminating in lion's feet, **QPO* to right, rev. incuse eagle flying right (cf.S.259, SNG Lloyd 603; Sicily, Panormos, (c.405-380 B.C.), silver obol, (0.71 grams), obv. young male head to left, rev. man-headed bull standing to left, Punic legend 'sys', (S.889, Jenkins SNR 50, No.14, [p.75, Pl.24, 14, similar dies], BMC 27, SNG ANS 551); Boiotia, Thebes, silver hemidrachm, (450-440 B.C.), (2.58 grams), obv. Boiotian shield, rev. amphora within incuse square, O E to left and right, (S.-, cf.BCD 378, cf.Head 14, BMC 43). Very fine - nearly extremely fine and rare. (3)
