Edward VIII, 1936 dated crown for Canada, 'Patina' retrospective pattern series, three proofs struck in silver plated copper piedfort, another in platinum coloured alloy and another in gold coated copper piedfort (Barton's metal), obverse, portrait of King to right by Percy Metcalfe, reverse, traditional 'Voyager' design with exergue having a maple leaf, struck with milled edge, each variety one of only 12 pieces made.
