Edward VIII, 1937 dated crown for Australia, 'Patina' retrospective pattern series, proof struck in .925 sterling silver, obverse, portrait of right by Percy Metcalfe date at end of legend, reverse, crown in wreath and SYDNEY NEW SOUTH WALES, struck with milled edge together with proof copper piedfort, another in silver coated piedfort metal, another in platinum coloured alloy, all with milled edges; another three, obverse, portrait of King left by Donald R Golder, reverse, map of Australia and ADVANCE AUSTRALIA, proofs struck in nickel silver, another silver plated piedfort and another in a golden alloy. FDC, each is one of only 12 pieces made. (7)
