Edward VIII, 1937 dated crown for Great Britain, 'Patina' retrospective pattern series, proof struck in .925 sterling silver, obverse, portrait of King left by Donald R Golder date behind, reverse, Pistrucci's St George and Dragon, exergue is plain, struck with plain edge together with proof versions struck in platinum coloured alloy with milled edge, piedfort copper with milled edge (illustrated) and silver coated piedfort with milled edge. FDC, first is one of only 15 pieces made, others each one of only 12 pieces made. (4)
