Edward VIII, 1937 dated crown for Great Britain, 'Patina' retrospective pattern series, proof struck in .925 sterling silver, (illustrated), obverse, portrait of King to right by Percy Metcalfe, reverse, Pistrucci's St George and Dragon, exergue has 'model' in script, one struck with milled edge, others struck in aluminium with milled edge, piedfort copper with milled edge, and silver coated piedfort with milled edge. FDC, with only 12 examples made of each type and all very rare. (4)
