Edward VIII, 1936 dated crown for Great Britain, 'Patina' retrospective pattern series, proof struck in .925 sterling silver, obverse, portrait of King to right by Percy Metcalfe, reverse, Pistrucci's St George and Dragon, exergue is plain, struck with milled edge, others struck in aluminium with plain edge, piedfort copper with plain edge, and nickel silver with plain edge. FDC, with only 15 examples made of each type and all very rare. (4)
