China, Han Dynasty, (206 B.C. - 220 A.D.), earthenware tripod funerary censer, the design modeled as a cooking vessel, traces of original red pigment, evidence of excavation deposits, (210mm wide x 150mm high). One leg reattached and some repair to the rim, otherwise intact.

Ex Phillip Harding collection. A rare early Chinese vessel of this form, regarded as a museum quality display piece.
