Maximianus, (A.D. 286-305 first reign), AE follis, Thessalonica mint, issued A.D. 298-9, (9.466 grams), obv. laureate head of Maximianus to right, around IMP C MA MAXIMIANVS P F AVG, rev. around GENIO POPV L I ROMANI, Genius standing to left, holding patera and cornucopiae, TSA in exergue, (S.13262, RIC 19b). Attractive, with trace of silvering, nearly extremely fine.
