Augustus as Octavian, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), silver denarius, uncertain Italian mint (probably Brundisium, possibly Rome), issued 32-29 B.C. (3.74 grams), obv. Octavian head bare to right, in dotted circle, rev. CAESAR on left downwards and DIVI F on right upwards, Pax standing to left draped, holding olive branch in left hand and cornucopiae in right hand, (S.1551, RIC 252, C.69, BMC 605). Good fine - nearly very fine with attractive blue toning on obverse, rare.
