M.Furius L.f. Philus, (c.119 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.61 grams), obv. laureate head of Janus, around M.FOVRI.L.F, rev. Roma standing left erecting trophy, ROMA to right, PHLI monogram in exergue, (S.156, Cr.281/1, Syd.529, RSC Furia 18). Toned, with some golden and blue highlights, very fine, scarce.
