Bank of New South Wales, five pounds, issued at Sydney, [April 1], 18[81], A/A 194124, entered by Henry C.Tingcome and Manager W.B.Hawthorne, imprint of Charles Skipper & East, London (MVR type 7c). Nearly very fine.
From the New England Hoard No.79 with handwritten notation on back ’65 here’ probably written by the owner of the hoard. Ex Spink Australia Sale 23 (lot 80), Noble Numismatics Sales 66 (lot 3000) and 71 (lot 2943).
