Henry III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 3c, issued 1248-1250, ADA/M ON/ OXO/NFO, Oxford mint, (S.1364, N.988). Off centred on reverse and weak in places, otherwise very fine and very scarce.
Ex. Richard Cyril Lockett collection with his ticket and illustrated on supplementary plate 77 (row 10 no 5), Glendining's June 6-9 1955 (lot 1204 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
