Henry III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 3c, issued 1248-1250, LVC/AS O/N G/LOV, Gloucester mint, (S.1364, N.988). Good very fine, with even gold tone and very scarce.
Ex. Richard Cyril Lockett collection with his ticket and illustrated on supplementary plate 75 (row 9 no 7), Glendining's June 6-9 1955 (lot 1204 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
