Trajan, (A.D. 98-117), AE dupondius, issued 103-111, Rome mint, (11.03 grams), obv. radiate draped bust to right of Trajan, around IMP CAES NER TRAIANO OPTIMO AVG GER DAC PARTHICO P M TR P COS VI P P, rev. Providentia standing left, elbow on column, pointing to globe at her feet, around PROVIDENTIA AVGVSTI S P Q R, S C across field, (cf.S.1002, RIC 665, C.322). Minor surface marks, well centred, portrait good very fine, otherwise good fine, scarce.
