Peloponnesos, Arkadian League, Megalopolis, (c.195-188 B.C.), silver triobol or hemidrachm, (2.22 grams), obv. Laureate head of Zeus to left, rev. naked Pan seated left, on rock holding lagobolon, to left eagle on knee of Pan over monogram of E(reversed)AK, to right **D*. (cf.S.2689, BCD 1547.4 [p.368], Dengate [MN 13] Group I, Period IIB, Issue 3, Agrinion Hoard 221-226, BMC 83, 90 [p.176], SNG Cop.195, McClean 6948, 6950). Nearly very fine and rare.
