Thrace, kings of, Lysimachos. (305-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.10 grams), uncertain Thracian mint, struck about c.280 B.C., obv. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon, rev. Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, spear behind; to inner left, monogram ANTO, in exergue **QE*, to right **BASILEWS*, to left **LUSIMAXOU*, (S.6814, Thompson -; M.316; SNG Berry 407 [same obv. die]). Nearly extremely fine, toned and rare.
