McDonald, Fisher & Co, Marble Bar, Western Australia, issued at Marble Bar, five shillings, uniface currency note, dated July 19, 1900, (190- printed), number No.11, no watermark, circular value tablets in all corners, no imprint, 'FIVE SHILLINGS' in value tablet across note, stating on front 'Pay on Demand the sum of Five Shillings', signed McDonald Fisher & Co, affixed with Western Australia penny red stamp, blue on white. Two small holes, some creases and folds, dirty areas on back, otherwise nearly very fine and very rare.

The issuer is noted by Vort-Ronald (p.23). Various denominations were issued by this issuer including a ten shillings and a one pound, both these being present in the next two lots. Spink Noble Sale No.36 (lots 2723 and 2724) also had examples of ten shilling and pound.
