L. MANLIUS TORQUATUS, (c.65 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.956 grams), obv. Head of Sibyl to right wreathed in ivy, SIBVILL[A] below, within line border, rev. L.TORQVAT III VIR divided by a tripod surmounted by an amphora between two stars, the whole within ornamented torque, (S.362, Cr.411/1b, Syd.836, RSC Manlia 12a). Very fine/nearly extremely fine and rare.
