EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy X Alexander I, (114-89/8 B.C.) sole reign, silver tetradrachm, (13.056 grams), Alexandria mint, issued year 20 = 95-4 B.C., obv. diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, with dotted border, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on a thunderbolt, to left around **PTOLEMAI[OU] BASILEW[S]*, to left LK, to right **PA*, (cf.S.7942, SNG Cop. 369, Sv.1680). Small tight flan, copper discolouration on portion of reverse, otherwise good fine and very scarce.
