EUBOIA, Karystos, (c.350 B.C.), silver drachm, (2.90 grams), obv. bearded head of Herakles to right, clad in lion skin, rev. cow seated to left, [KAPY**STIWN*] above, club to right below, (S.2505 [ú400], BMC 8-9, cf.Lanz BCD Catalogue No.111, [lot 558], cf.SNG Cop.417). Good very fine/fair, reverse corroded, variety rare.

Ex BCD Collection (with his ticket) and previously from the W.P. Wallace Collection.
