THRACE, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.068 grams), Lampsacus mint, issued 297/6-282/1 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted circle, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, **DX* monogram to left, herm outer left, to right **BASILEWS*, to left **LUSIMAXOU*, (cf.S.6814, Thompson 50, M.91, SNG Ash. 3725-6, SNG Cop. 1095-6). Lightly toned, reverse with scratches and scrapes, with a nearly full flan, good very fine/nearly very fine and scarce.
