Ex. John Gartner, library for some of the early volumes. $$ This is the most important continuing publication on Indian coins (it was issued from early this century, and ceased in 1937). It is almost complete, and this attractively bound set of volumes lack only those numbers which are generally of minor importance. This set is an indepensible reference that contains hundreds of articles on the coinage of the Mogul and Sultanate rulers, EIC, Ancient India etc. by the best scholars of that time. The articles generally have plates of excellent illustrations, present in each volume.
