Port Jackson & Manly Steamship Co Ltd, passes, all with hole pierced for loop suspension, all in gilt brass except the last which is gun metal plated copper, all with impressed serial numbers on reverse and the first three have the maker's name 'AMOR / SYDNEY' on the reverse; type 1, shape of circle with scroll at top, 'JULY / DEC.' at top sides, '1967' in centre and 'P.J.& M.S.S.Co.' around bottom, number 135; type 2, pentagon shaped, 'JULY SEPT. / P.J.& M.S.S. / Co. / 1967' top to bottom, number 116; type 3, diamond shaped with scallopped edges, 'OCT. / DEC. / 1967 / P.J.& M. / S.S.Co.' left to right, top to bottom, number 185; type 4, shape of semi-circle with scroll at top, 'P.J.& M.S.S. / CO. / 1968 / JANUARY - JUNE', top to bottom, number 356; type 5, identical to previous but number 149 and with suspension hole pierced in error at bottom instead of at top; type 6, shield shaped with small triangle at top, 'P.J.& M.S.S.Co. JAN - / MARCH / 1968' top to bottom, number 113; type 7, roughly semi-circular shape atop a triangle, 'P.J.& M.S.S. / CO. LTD. / 1968 / APRIL - JUNE' top to bottom, number 116; type 8, identical to previous but in gun metal plated copper and number 13, (Seckold 480PX, 480PY, 480QA, 480QC, 480QC variety, 480QD, 480QG, 480QH). Nearly extremely fine - nearly uncirculated, the first and fourth scarce, the rest very scarce and includes the fifth item which is possibly unique. (8)
