Description

Port Jackson & Manly Steamship Co Ltd, passes, the first three with loop suspension and the last with hole pierced for suspension loop, all with impressed serial number and blank reverses; type 1, seven-sided with bottom five concave, voided centre diamond with square inset in gilt brass, 'P.J.&.M.S.S.Co Ltd' around diamond and number 992 at base; type 2, identical to type 1 but in silver-plated brass and number 157 and with the voided letter L inside the square; type 3, identical to type 1 but in gun metal plated copper and number 108 and with the voided letter A inside the square; type 4, oval shaped with voided centre diamond with square inset, in gun metal plated brass, 'P.J.& M.S.S. Co Ld' around the diamond and number 83 at base, (Seckold 480DE, 480DF, 480DG, 480DO). The third item has a 4mm edge crack at 10 o'clock otherwise all items very fine, the first two scarce and the last two rare. (4)
