Description

Sydney Harbour Ferries Ltd, passes, all with pierced holes at top for loop suspension and all with impressed serial numbers, the first in silver-plated brass the rest in gilt brass; type 1, roughly oval, 'JAN MCH / 1960' at top, 'S.H.F.' at bottom, voided letter S at 45% at lower right, reverse, number 011; type 2, roughly triangular with convex sides, 'JAN MCH / 1960' at top, 'S.H.F.' at bottom, reverse number 20; type 3, identical to previous but with voided letter S at bottom right and number 30 on reverse; type 4, diamond shaped, 'S.H.F.' at top, 'APR. 1960 JUNE' at bottom, reverse, number 19; type 5, roughly rectangular with scallop in top and bottom edge, '1960 / JULY '/ SEPT / S.H.F.' around sides, reverse, number 025; type 6, oval with textured surface, 'S.H.F. / OCT. - DEC. / 1960', reverse, number 019, (Seckold 720LD, 720LE, 720LF, 720LH, 720LI, 720LK). Very fine - extremely fine and scarce, the second, third and fourth are rare. (6)
