Description

Sydney Ferries Ltd, passes, all in silver-plated brass except the third type which is gilt, all with pierced hole for loop suspension, all with impressed serial number and all with blank reverse; type 1, diamond shaped with voided centre diamond, Sydney Ferries Limited around the top and number 2188 at bottom; type 2, identical to previous but with the letter S voided at 45% angle in left centre area and with number 3541 at bottom; type 3, roughly oval shaped, beaded letter M at top with Sydney Ferries Ltd below and number 3691 at bottom inside a rectangle; type 4, round with scalloped edge, letter B in top section with S.F. to the left and Ltd to the right and the number 760 at the bottom; type 5, identical to previous but with letter S voided horizontally in the centre and with number 3677 at bottom, (Seckold 720FA, 720FB, 720FD, 720FG, 720FH). Very fine - nearly extremely fine and scarce, the second and fifth items rare. (5)
