Mysia, Pergamon, (c.92-85 B.C.), silver cistophoric tetradrachm, (12.66 grams), obv. cista mystica containing serpent, all within ivy wreath, rev. bow in case between two coiled serpents, to left monogram of **PER*, above **AS/PRU*, to right serpent entwined thyrsus, (cf.S.3948, Kleiner [ANSMN 23], Type 29, example in ANS Collection, Pinder -, SNG von Aulock -). Extremely fine and very rare.
