Sicily, Syracuse, (c.485-478 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.31 grams), obv. fast walking quadriga driven to right by bearded male charioteer, Nike flying right crowning horses, rev. **SUPAK OSI O N* around to right, head of Artemis-Arethusa to right, hair slightly waved and turned up behind under diadem of beads, four dolphins around, (cf.S.914, Boehringer 138 same dies (obverse 62/reverse 95 dies), SNG Munich 941 [same dies]). Toned, good very fine and very rare.

Ex Spink Australia Sale 10, (lot 1538 illustrated) and Noble Numismatics Auction Sale 79 (lot 3371). Boehringer notes only four specimens from these dies.
