Marcus Aurelius as Caesar, (A.D. 161-180), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 145, (21.20 grams), obv. bare head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around AVRELIVS CAES AR AVG PII F COS II, rev. SC across the field, Minerva advancing to right holding javelin and shield, (S.4808, RIC 1243a, C.576). On a large thick flan, with a attractive brown patina, well centred, good very fine, and rare.
