Faustina Senior, wife of Antoninus Pius, (died A.D.141), silver denarius, (3.144 grams), issued after 147, Rome mint, obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around DIVA FAVSTINA, rev. Vesta standing left holding palladium and sceptre, around AVGV STA, (cf.S.4587, cf.BMC p.62*, RIC 369, RSC 109); another silver denarius, (3.174 grams), issued 146, Rome mint, obv. draped veiled bust to right of Faustina, around DIVA AVG FAVSTINA, rev. Eagle to right, head to left, around CONSECRATIO, (S.4595, BMC 305, RIC 387, RSC 181). Attractive brightness with light tone, good very fine; very fine. (2)
