Faustina Senior, wife of Antoninus Pius, (died A.D.141), silver denarius, (3.154 grams), issued after 147, Rome mint, obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around DIVA FAVSTINA, rev. Ceres standing left veiled holding long torch, around AVG VSTA, (S.4582, cf.BMC 408, cf.RIC 358, RSC 93a). Attractive brightness, nearly extremely fine and a rare variety with ticket.
