Domitian, as Caesar, (A.D. 81-96), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 76-8, (3.354 grams), obv. laureate head of Domitian to right, around CAESAR AVG F DOMITIANVS, rev. around CERES AVGVST, Ceres standing to left, holding corn ears and long torch, (S.2636, BMC 323, RIC 248, RSC 30); Commodus, (A.D. 177-192), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 192, (2.826 grams), obv. laureate head of Commodus to right, around M COMM ANT P FEL AVG BRIT, rev. around OPTIME MAXIME C V P P, Jupiter naked to left holding sceptre and thunderbolt, (S.5564, RIC 192, RSC 387); Julian II, (A.D. 360-363), silver siliqua, Arelate mint, issued c.360 (1.848 grams), obv. rosette-diademed bust of Julian II to right, around D N IVLIAN VS PF AVG, rev. VOTIS V MVLTIS X in wreath, TCON in exergue, (S.4071, RIC 295, RSC 161). First with some surface oxidation, otherwise fine - very fine. (3)
