Schulman, New York, auction, June 6-11, 1968 (lot 2923, illustrated it realised US$47) and Spink & Son, London with ticket and ex Noble Numismatics Auction Sale 65 (lot 1842). The restoration of the kingdom by Gordian III was short-lived, his successor made Edessa a colony once again.
