Moesia Inferior, Nicopolis ad Istrum, Caracalla, (A.D. 198-217), AE 17, (3.04 grams), obv. bare headed draped bust of Caracalla to right, around M AV KAI ANTC**W*NIOC mirror image lettering, rev. Victory advancing to right holding wreath and palm, around **NIKOPOL PR*OC CIT, (S.-, Pick -, BMC -, Varbanov -). Even dark brown tone, extremely fine and most interesting, apparently unpublished.
