Macrinus laureate and cuirassed bust to right, around legend around AVT K O**PELLIO*C CEVH MAKPEINOC, rev. eagle standing facing wings spread, head to right, with wreath in beak, V*P PONTIAN O*V MAPKIANO**POLI TWN*, (S.-, Varbonov 1121, BMC 29, Pick 714 [p.235]). Dark green patina, good very fine or better and rare for this reverse.
