Stephen, (1135-1154), silver penny, Watford type, issued c.1136-1145, BMC i, Hastings mint, (1.41 grams), obv. inner circle around traces of STEIFNE: REX, rev. [PE]NSTAN: ON: [hAS]T (Wenstan of Hastings), (S.1278, N.873). Weak in places but better than average, very fine and very rare.
