Edward the Confessor, (1042-1066), penny, facing bust type, issued 1062-1065, (0.97 grams), obv. EADPARD REX A, crowned bust of king facing, bearded, rev. DIORMAN ON STAE, (Diorman of Steyning), with small cross and circle in centre, (S.1183, N.830, Br.9, BMC xiii). Light grey tone, good very fine and rare.
