Aethelred II (978-1016) penny, last small cross type, issued 1009-1017, (1.08 grams), obv. bust left, around AEDELRED REX ANG, rev., small cross, LIOFSTAN MO LVND (Leofstan of London) (S.1154, N.777, Br.1, BMC 1). Some peck marking, slightly crinkled, otherwise very fine.
