The first an important sale catalogue that is used as a reference in its own right on Byzantine coins, the second book describes a collection of 1432 coins all of which are illustrated. It includes many rarities and rarely illustrated issues. Both books are most impoortant for the collector of Byzantine coins. Hunt is Part 4 of the greatest family collection of ancient coins ever sold, this is probably the greatest collection of Byzantine coins ever sold in one sale, a most elaborate catalogue again with spectacular colour photography.
