REPUBLIC, anonymous issue, (211-208 B.C.), silver denarius, (3.61 grams), Rome mint, obv. Roma head to right X behind, rev. Dioscuri riding to right, ROMA in exergue, (cf.S.99; Cr.53/2, Syd.229). Good very fine/very fine and scarce.

The earliest roman denarius issue struck immediately after 211 B.C.
