ITALY, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), (c.340-240 B.C.), silver stater or didrachm, (7.275 grams), obv. head of nymph to right, X behind, rev. bull walking to right, crowned by Nike flying right above, below EVX (GREEK), below exergue [N]EOPOL[ITWN], (cf.S.300, Sambon 477, SNG ANS 370 [same or similar dies]). Large flan and slightly off centred on reverse, otherwise nearly very fine/very fine, scarce with attractive red/blue tone.
