Caracalla, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 208, Rome mint, (3.744 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. emperor on horseback, holding spear with foeman on ground before him, around PONTIF TR P XI COS III, PROF in exergue, (S.-, cf.RIC 113, cf.RSC 468 but next year and to left). Nearly extremely fine and very rare apparently unpublished.
