Mongols of Persia, Ilkhanids, Post-Reform Coinage, Second Period, Uljaytu ibn Arghun, (A.H. 703-716) (A.D. 1304-1316), gold two dinars (8.45 grams, Erzincan mint (Arzinjan), A.H. 717 = A.D. 1317 (a posthumous issue), type C, obv. inscription within and outside a heptafoil enclosure, rev. similar but a hexafoil enclosure, (A.2179, cf.M.1609 [silver 6 dirhams]). Good very fine and a very rare mint in gold.

A similar example, apparently from the same dies, was listed in Stephen Album list 92 (December 1992) (No.21).
