Mexico, Philip V, (1700-1724, 1724-1746), gold cob one escudo, [1]731, Mexico City mint. assayer F, (3.2 grams), obv. left field o/M/F, (trace of F only), (KM.51.1, date unlisted, F.7c). Nearly very fine and of great rarity.
A fractional piece with a clear date and mint is for this period very rare. This piece is also unpublished in the Spanish literature on this series as well.
