Germany, Third Reich Army dagger, Damascus steel blade with maker’s name, ’Alcoso / AC / S / Solingen’, Army Infantry eagle crossguard, orange coloured cast plastic material grip, oak leaf decorated pommel, metal scabbard with oak leaf decorated bands, with suspension strap and portepee attached. Reverse of scabbard rusty otherwise very fine.

Germany, Third Reich hunting dagger, blade marked ’E.P. & S. / Solingen’ (Ernst Pack & Sohne), at top etched design of antlers with swastika between, scroll and leaf pattern design etched into blade at either side of inscription ’Falkenhof - Riddagshausen, / den 3.Nov.1937’, back with similar design but inscription, ’Der Reichsjagermeister and facsimile of Goring’s signature’, crossguard of opposing hooves, oak leaf decoration and Army eagle and swastika quillon block, handle of bone, oak leaf and acorn decorated pommel and band, black leather scabbard with oak leaf, acorn and hunting rifle arms decorated tip and top potector, all fittings in brass. Extremely fine.
