Commemorative Medal, 2005, in bronze (50mm), obverse with soldier bayoneting an object on the ground and the wording, "Proudly Serving/Australia In/Peace And War,/At Home And/Abroad, For/90/Years", reverse design of two crossed bayonets in centre with 2 above and around this is the date of issue "2005" and the unit names "8 BDE 4 BDE 5 BDE 9 BDE 13 BDE 8 SIG REGT" and in the outer circle are more unit names and the commemorated date, "5 BDE 26 JULY 1915 6 BDE 7 BDE"; WWII desert campaign allied postcards (8) featuring b&w military scenes, all unused. Dog Tags, on coins, WWI, includes on a German East Africa silver rupie, the reverse shaved clean and inscribed with decoration and, "5692/Sgt P.H.ROSS/SIGNAL SECTION/5th SAH/G.E.A. 1916", another on a French franc, the reverse shaved clean and inscribed, "Sap. W.R.WOOD/R.E./171728/C of E/35th. DIVl. Sig. Coy." The first with a pierced hole at top edge and the second with a pierced hole at the sides, otherwise the first very fine, the second nearly fine. British WWII Steel Helmet, no markings, some of the upper leather lining is hardened and some missing, with chinstrap, one of the strap holders is marked "U/1940", written on the underside in ink, "J.King - Harman"; water canteen with screw-on lid and fitted with leather shoulder strap; horse stirrup, marked on the base, " Solid Nickel" and "Butler Bros" and "A1" and indistinguishable other marking; also a very worn and rusty Lucky Hit Ready Rubbed Tobacco tin; also a non-military retractable painted brass telescope covered with interlaced cord braiding. The hat heavily toned, the canteen with many dents, the telescope worn and closes but will not stay shut, otherwise poor - fine. (5)
