Captain James Cook's H.M. Bark Endeavour, a piece of timber (22cm long x 2cm wide) being part of the keel retrieved from the wreck of the ship at Newport, Rhode Island, USA, in a gilt timber framed display case with label attached, written in 18th century hand (probably that of Sir Joseph Banks' sister, Sarah) that reads, 'This is part of the keel of the Ship Endeavour which, under the command of James Cook, Esq, circumnavigated the Globe in 1768-1770, Broken up at Newport, Rhode-Island, U.S.A. 1796.' There are only two pieces of this historic ship in private hands, this one and the other is in a Sydney Collection, excessively rare and of the highest importance to Australian history.

New South Wales Prize Exhibitors medal, 1862 (London), in gold (76mm) struck in nearly pure gold (23.5ct) (12oz / 365gm) by W.Kullrich, awarded as a special prize by the New South Wales Government for the best spun yarn from NSW grown wool to Joseph Craven of Dole Mill, Thornton, Yorkshire, inscribed on edge 'Joseph Craven. Fabric', probably the largest Australian award medal in gold. In original case, nearly FDC and excessively rare.

First two medals unnamed, Maj. F.B.Prideaux. I.A. on third medal, Maj. F.B.Prideaux. on fourth and fifth medals, last two medals unnamed. All named medals impressed. The first medal and its neck ribbon are in the original case by Garrard & Co Ltd, 24 Albermarle St London & Dalhousie Sq Calcutta, the second medal is with its neck ribbon, the next four medals are swing mounted and the last medal is loose without neck ribbon. The first two medals virtually uncirculated, the next four are toned extremely fine and the last medal is about fine for the issue.
