Bruttium, Rhegium, (c.415/10 - 387 BC), silver tetradrachm, (17.04 g), obv. lion's mask facing, rev. Laureate head of Apollo left, PH**G*INON (Herzfelder 103, HN III 2496). Very attractive old cabinet tone, high relief on a dumpy flan, flan crack at 2 through edge yet does not affect fields, extremely fine and very rare.

Sicily, Siculo-Punic, (345-315 BC) silver tetradrachm, (17.11 g), Entella mint (?), obv. head of Arethousa left, wearing wreath of grain ears, triple pendant earings and pearl necklace, dolphins around, rev. horse leaping left, date palm behind (Jenkins, Punic, Series 2d, 139 [O46, R125 same dies]; HGC 2 279, SNG Lockett 1036). Attractive old cabinet tone with mint bloom in fields, extremely fine.
